it's been awhile...

It's been awhile since I last posted on here...A LOT has been going on around here....

First...I turned in my 2 week notice at the dr's office I am working at.  I just can't keep staying at work until 7 everynight.  They don't appreciate their employees...they always want more and more.  I wasn't making the money that I should have been making and I wasn't doing the job that I was hired for in the first place. So if they don't tell me on MOnday that my services are no longer needed (like they did to another girl) my last day will be on Dec 14th.

Let's see...second...I wont go into all the details but Allen's mom is being stupid and cranky(which is a really nice way to put what I really want to say)  She talking a lot of junk and told me and Allen that we couldn't take care of or keep the girls as safe as she could.  This coming from a woman that showed up to work drunk!  The girls aren't allowed to be in the car with her anymore if she is driving...and as far as Allen is concerned they don't need to be around her at all.  He told her that she better make real good friends with Christie (his ex) if she ever wanted to see the girls again cuz he wasn't going to take them to see her.  Also...they don't know yet but in Jun when they get out of school we are moving to Idaho.  Just Allen and I...he is going to miss his girls so much, but it will be better for his health in the long run and the girls will be able to come and see us every summer, everyother Chirstmas and every spring break.  In the end it will be the same amount that we see them now just all at once instead of spread out through out the year....and yes Nicole you read right...we will be moving up there in June!

An a better note...we had a great Thanksgiving and my birthday was great.  We went to the Cliffs of the Neuse on Saturday and took some pics...here are a few from that.

WOW

Well...WOW!  That is all I can say...it has been forever since I did anything with this thing.  So sorry.  So lets get caught up.  I started a new job in June at a doctor's office.  I got my CNA license and then got the job.  Very cool.  I like it...the girls I work with are all really nice.  I am still working at the golf course in the bar also.  Only on Wed afternoon's and some weekends.  We get out at 2 every Wed at the doctor's office so I figured since I would normally be at work anyway I would go in for a couple hours and get a couple of bucks while I am at it. 

I decided to quit the DT at Carolina Memories...it was just to far to drive and with the gas prices at $2.65 which is down from $2.90...and having a SUV it was to expensive also.  I am going to miss it but I am too busy with work anyway.  Speaking of scrapping...I haven't touched a scrap item...since the Birthday crop at Houseofpaper.com  UGG... makes me mad.  I just dont' have any energy to do anything when I get home from work but get on this stupic computer!  LOL

Allen and I are doing great.  We celebrated our one year anniversary on Jun 24th.  We didn't do anthing but go to dinner, but it was nice spending time with him.  We hardly get to see eachother right now and the time we do see each other we have the girls.  So he told Christie that the first weekend in Sept we are not going to have the girls.  I think the last time we actually did anything together was for like Valentine's day.  We didn't even do anything for his birthday.  I think we are going to go to the mountains or the beach.  It will be very nice to be able to see him without any interuptions for 3 days!  Thank goodness.  I love him so much...it is hard not to see him!

We are still trying to fix the house up...but that isn't going along as good as we would have liked.  Oh well!  We are happy anyway. 

The girls start school in a couple of weeks...they were excited when we took them school shopping for new clothes...as Savannah says...I love to shop!  LOL  She is too cute.  And Abby is getting so big.  I cut their hair so their mom wouldn't have their nana cut it.  She always cuts Savannah's bangs really short and it looks funny.  LOL  I still want to get them a couple more things for school...but Christie is doing the big stuff since that is why Allen pays her so much. 

Well...I guess that is it for now...ummm....yeah...that's it....

Messy Room!

Okay you all wanted it...so here it is...my messy scrap room...we have an eat in Kitchen so I turned the dining room into my scrap room!  It is a bit of a mess right now...but oh well...even if it was clean I would never be able to find all my stuff anyway...does that mean I have too much?? Okay so here is my room...I know it is a mess right now...but that is okay.  I must learn to deal with the fact that I don't like it clean...and that it is very hard for me to keep clean...So there you have it!

So I am still trying to find a full time job...I got hired on at Ross PT with the potential for FT but still it doesn't pay very much and we sooo need the money!  But I wont bore you with all those details!  LOL  I hope everyone had/has a great day!

Crappy Day

Well...I didn't get the job.  I am really pissed off about it.  They told me to call to have an interview, so I called and I got the interview...then after the interview they siad we will get back with you.  Okay I went down there at like 3 pm and they called at like 7 pm and told me that they just hired 3 new people and that they were shuffeling people around and "the dust settles" that I would be the first one they would call.  Ugggg!!!!  I am so mad!  If they had no intention of hiring any more people then why the hell did I have to get dressed up and go down there for an interview???!!!! 

Also...the heater has been acting funky...so we have the guy come out last night and fix it...but now it is doing the same thing that it was doing before!  Grrrr!!  What the heck!  So he was supposed to come back out tonight but didn't and now he is supposed to come out tomorrow.  We shall see.  It is a good thing that we don't have the girls until next week!  On the brighter side it has been warmer lately so we haven't needed the heat to much.  But still make me cranky!

So I really need to find a job.  My unemployment is about to run out and we are going to need the money!  Why can't we just win the lottery or something??  LOL  Anyway...I have put out all these applications and haven't heard anything from anywhere...YIKES!  Hopefully I will hear something soon on something! 

So okay...that's it...that's all that is going on right now...

It has been a long time since I posted on this thing!  I tried one night and some how deleted the whole post.  UGH!  I got frustrated so I didn't try to repost.  Oh well...let's see...

Ali Edwards is such an awesome lady...you should check out her blog http://aliedwards.typepad.com/  her son has Autism and so I donated to her fund to help find a cure in Simon's name.  Make's me feel good to help even though it doesnt' seem like I didn't do to much..but I know every little bit helps.

So school is going okay but I am going to have to find a job and like soon!  I did go for a job interview, it is something that I never thought I would do in a million years, but it pays way more then I have ever made or will make in Cosmetology.  I will have to quit school to take this job though...so this is going to be a really hard decision for me.  Okay...so I bet you are all dying to know what the job is...well...it is being a car salesperson.  I know...I know...most car salespeople are pushy and weird...but I think I would be really good at it especially with my recruiting training.  I can still go to school...but not for cosmetology.  The hours wouldn't allow me to.  Maybe a business degree...something I could do online.  We will see.

Allen and I are still doing great.  We haven't been working on the house as much as we would like due to the fact that money is tight right now...since christmas then the girls' birthdays, his dad's birthday and his sister's birthday...oh yea and Valentines Day.  goodness!  crazy I tell ya!  LOL  I hope everyone is doing well and talk to you later.

So today was our first official Design Team Meeting...and I will have to say that I think I am really going to enjoy it!  I love getting challenged to use things I haven't used before...and who could resist a GC every month and 15% off anytime you buy something!!  LOL  So this month I am challenged to use Rusty Pickle and also do a LO about the Military...should be interesting.  So wish me luck!

Sooo excited...

I am so excited!  I tried out for the design team for this big scrapbook store in Durham and I made the team!  I can't believe it!  I am truely amazed that I actually made it.  Allen says my work is fabulous, but I think he is kind of biased.  So visit their website at www.carolinamemories.com and hopefully next month you will see some of my work!  Yeah!!! 

Not much else going on really.  Still workin on the house and making some progress there!  The heat is finally fixed and so I am hoping that the light bill wont be to high next month, but we shall see. 

I get out of school on Monday for the holidays and I can't wait.  I like going but am very ready to take a break for 2 weeks. I will start going to school full time in January so that will be a big change for me.
